Chairman, The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (known for Emmy Awards)

Mr. Cohen served as President of King World International Productions and Executive Vice President of CBS Broadcast International. His previous positions also included Director of HBO International; Director of Cultural Programming and International, PBS; and Special Assistant to the Chairman of the FCC in Washington, DC. M.A in Communication, Film and Television from Stanford University.

Takaaki SHIMAZU

Former Executive Vice President, SAPPORO DOME Co., LTD.

Mr. Shimazu held executive positions at Tokyo Dome and Sapporo Dome and is considered to be the foremost expert in entertainment venue management. He is well recognized for hosting Michael Jordan's first tour in Japan.

Jim SMALL

Senior Vice President, International, Major League Baseball
President, World Baseball Classic

Prior to this position, Mr. Small worked for Nike. He also worked at MLB Commissioner's Office, developing WBC; and the Chicago White Socks. MBA from Fordham University.

Shinsuke TSUTSUMI

Journalist, former editor of literary books and Foresight Magazine

TV News Commentator and former Editor of Foresight Magazine Mr. Tsutsumi worked as an editor for over 40 years at prestigious Shinchosha Publishing being responsible for high profile authors and was editor in chief for its flagship monthly magazine. He has also been a popular TV news commentator/analyst for two major networks.

Taro HASHIMOTO

Broadmedia Corporation CEO

Mr. Hashimoto graduated from Keio University. After working at Nomura Securities, he joined SOFTBANK Corp. He then became CFO of Sky PerfecTV. He founded Broadmedia and has been serving as CEO since 2000. He served as an Expert Member of the Council for Cultural Affairs from 2004 to 2008. He also serves as Head of Renaissance High School Group and Chairman of Fishing Vision.

Rob HUMMEL

President, Group 47,Inc.

Mr. Hummel is an authority on digital cinema and 3D technology. Previously, he served as President of DALSA Digital Cinema. His previous positions also included Senior Vice President, Production Technology at Warner Bros.; Senior Vice President, Digital Cinema for SONY Corporation of America. At the Walt Disney Studios he held positions in post-production, Imagineering, and TV Animation. BA, Business Administration, Principia College.

Thomas HOEGH

Founder and CEO, Arts Alliance (European based leading investment and management corporation in IT, education, contents creation and natural resources.)

Mr. Hoegh is an internationally recognized IT and media business investor from Norway. He is also a creative producer and director responsible for Lillehammer Winter Olympic Games closing ceremony and multi media live presentations of Nordic literature. Mr. Hoegh holds Northwestern University degree in theatre and MBA from Harvard.

Yasushi HOSODA

Former chairman of SKY Perfect Communications Inc.

Mr. Hosoda is a member of Board of Regents at Seijo University. He had held most senior executive positions at Sky Perfect Satellite Broadcasting, SONY Pictures Japan and SONY Portugal and Latin America.

Takao KITAYAMA

CEO, Kitayama & Company

Mr. Kitayama is a twin brother of internationally famed architect, Tadao Ando, and one of the leading concept designer for urban development and brands in Japan.

Claudio SILVESTRI

Chairman & CEO, Silvestri Group

Dr. Silvestri was responsible for developing Cas de Campo in Dominican Republic as the leading resort and premium private community in the Caribbean. He is currently leading his private equity and real estate development group in Plano, Texas. Dr.Silvestri has received the Great Annual Tourism Award from the Receiver M.B.A. from California Pacific University and his Honorary Doctorate in Hospitality Science from Johnson & Wales University.

Masashi KIMURA

Mr. Kimura is a Former Dean and Specially Appointed Professor of Nihon University College of Fine Arts as well as Chancellor of the Third Junior & Senior High School of Nihon University. He is a well known scientific illustrator with fellow experiences at Smithsonian National Geographic Society and University of Oxford. He holds MFA from Washington State University.

Atsushi FUKUDA

Mr. Fukuda was the founding president of SONY Digital Entertainment and currently President of Speedy, Inc. and CEO of STARTO ENTERTAINMENT, Inc., the largest music artist management company in Japan. He is a brand architect with broad range of business expertise in modern art, crypto currency, artist management and media content production. Graduated from the Film School, College of Art, Nihon University.

Naochika ICHINO

Mr. Ichino has been a Fuji Network Television drama series for over 20 years operating out of Tokai TV Tokyo studios. He is a pioneering producer with much interest in international coproductions and is a member of International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (Emmy Organization). Steven THORPE

Mr. Thorp is widely recognized by the American broadcasting industry as one of the most qualified digital broadcasting technology and production application expert. He has worked for NBC Universal to digitize television network distribution prior to joining FOX Broadcasting as its senior executive responsible for digital platform.Prior to Amazon, he was VP, Network Origination at NEP.

Masaru TOMITA

Professor Emeritus, Keio University

Dr. Masaru Tomita holds MD, Dr. Eng, and Ph.D. in Policy and Media. After studying artificial intelligence at Carnegie Mellon University, he eventually moved into the field of life sciences and helped to establish the Institute for Advanced Biosciences at Keio University as a research facility to implement IT-driven biology. He has demonstrated his skills as a representative director at Tsuruoka Science Park. He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Keio University. Earned Master's degree and Doctoral degree from Carnegie Mellon University.

Masayuki (Yuki) NOZOE

Mr. Nozoe was the first Japanese Hollywood studio president at SONY Pictures and held senior executive positions at mobile communications and advertising agency. He had also led the e-book publishing company.

Emi MATSUSHIMA

Ms. Matsushima is licensed to practice law in Japan and State of New York. She is a graduate of NYU Law School as well as Sophia University. She had worked at high profile law offices of former Hamada & Matsumoto as well as Kottodori. She was also general counsel at SONY Pictures Entertainment Japan and Okinawa International Science and Technology Graduate School.

Motonari MITSUYAMA

Mr. Mitsuyama has created a billion dollar amusement company and is known for his academic endowment to Saitama University and sponsoring the annual opera festival at Suntory Hall in Tokyo. He has received MBA from KIT by submitting a thesis which created social scientific analytics tool for amusement facility placements.

Hidenori ARAI

Former Host Broadcast Production, FIFA

Mr. Arai was responsible for broadcast rights negotiation, video production and global distribution of FIFA sanctioned soccer matches including the World Cup for over 20 years based in Zurich. He had worked for Dentsu, ISL and ISE in sports marketing prior to joining FIFA in 2004. He holds BA from Waseda University and MBA from University of Pittsburgh.

Jonathan SERBIN

Former President, Warner Music Asia

Dr. Jonathan Serbin managed the entire Asian market including China and Japan for Warner Music as Co-President of Asia. He holds BA from Washington University, JD from Bostin University and MBA from Columbia University. After gaining experience as a music attorney in New York, he moved to Shanghai developing successful mobile phone and digital contents ventures. He had moved on to manage entertainment business investments for US private equities in Hong Kong where he also had successfully built Billboard Asia business prior to joining Warner.

Toshihiko HONDA

COO, U-NEXT Co., Ltd.

Born in Gunma, Japan. After studying abroad at the University of California, Irvine, Mr. Honda joined Walt Disney Japan in 2003. From 2006, he engaged in the digital distribution business at Warner Entertainment Japan. He then headed the digital license business in Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment APAC from 2016. He has been serving as COO in U-NEXT since 2019.
