■略歴
1981年3月京都大学医学部を卒業し、1982年4月同助手・1994年7月助教授を経て、2006年4月より金沢医科大学教授（生理学1）、2022年4月から同嘱託教授・名誉教授。
この間、1986年7月医学博士取得、1986年7月から1989年9月までオクスフォード大学・マクスプランク研究所で研究。
■専門分野
専門：シナプス可塑性など神経生物学の生理学的研究。アルツハイマー病・うつ病モデルマウスの生理学的および解剖学的解析。
