Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering
Educational Objectives

In addition to high-level expertise and the ability to actively contribute to technological innovation in the mechanical field, both domestically and internationally, students acquire character strength and integration skills allowing for expansion into a wide range of engineering fields. This program nurtures researchers and engineers with high level mechanical expertise and strength of character, who are capable of flourishing in advanced fields of study and in areas of research and development focused on mechanical engineering.

Educational Objectives of Subjects

Advanced Expertise in Mechanical Engineering
Students acquire comprehensive advanced knowledge and skills in advanced machining, energy & mechanics engineering, vehicle system engineering, robotics, and other types of manufacturing in order to contribute to the future development of mechanical engineering.

Advanced Systematization
Students learn to apply the professional skills obtained through studies in their major, and take on challenges in different technical fields in order to create and develop innovative technologies.

Problem Finding and Solving
Students learn to analyze tasks, set targets and solve problems related to mechanical engineering, using their mechanical design skills and research and development skills. They also learn to make effective presentations of their research results.

Project Implementation
Students acquire project-management and leadership skills for management and decision-making with regard to groups of people with different values.

Application of Social Skills
Students develop a sense of ethics as engineers, and acquire the communication and leadership skills needed to take full advantage of their professional ability.
